Saskia Noor van Imhoff opened a solo exhibition at the Amsterdam Hermitage, as part of the ABN AMRO Art Award the artist received a year ago. Van Imhoff designed her installation #+32.001 Hot-bain marie drop-in specifically for this exhibition, which also features one of the Netherlands' first ATMs from the ABN AMRO historical archives.

The jury that awarded the prize described Van Imhoff as "an artist who explores her surroundings in an idiosyncratic manner and makes unexpected connections in doing so," saying that she "shuffles everything together: painting, sculpture, design, poetry and architecture. In that sense Saskia Noor van Imhoff is a representative of the times, in which, partly due to the influence of the Internet, everything interrelates and can coexist." It's an outright invitation to come and view her installation. Van Imhoff incorporates in sculptures reminiscent of refrigerated display cases references to works of art which had previously featured in ABN AMRO's art collection and which she bought at auction. Her solo exhibition runs until 17 July 2018 at the Hermitage Amsterdam.
