After last year's Tupac Biggie book, Patta and eminent photographer Dana Lixenberg once again collaborate with graphic designer Linda van Deursen, releasing an exclusive piece with Lixenberg's most iconic portraits of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G.
Getting back on the collaboration, the t-shirts are produced from a 100% cotton fabric with an all-over print. The print is an excerpt from Tupac Biggie, the visual history of Dana Lixenberg’s iconic photographs of the legendary artists Tupac and Biggie released by Patta in collaboration with Roma Publishing in 2018. These photographs, commissioned by VIBE magazine in 1993 and 1996, have been appropriated over the years by innumerable admirers around the world. Like the book, the shirt retraces the unforeseen trajectory and ubiquity of these images, worked out by Linda van Deursen.
