Caroline Walker to present solo exhibition at Dulwich Picture Gallery in 2027

For her new solo exhibition, Caroline Walker turns her attention to the people behind Dulwich Picture Gallery.

 

Over two years, Walker has documented daily life across the Gallery, creating new works that celebrate the staff, encounters and unseen moments that bring the institution to life. Renowned for her insightful depictions of women's lived experiences, Walker offers a compelling portrait of the Gallery beyond the walls of its exhibitions.

 

Part of the Gallery’s ‘Unlocking Paintings’ series: thought-provoking displays that present new perspectives on the historic Collection.

The exhibition will be on view from 12 October 2027 through 19 March 2028.
